Image for music and the performing arts

Every show has its own structure, mechanics, universe and symbols. This is how I work on each one.

    Structure

    The first thing I think about. How the show is built in blocks, its key moments and how the night builds, from start to finish.

  2. 02

    Mechanics

    The inner and outer logic of the screens. Their sizes and layout, the use of live cameras, the type of shots for each size and what gets triggered at each moment.

  3. 03

    Universe

    Each artist's visual world. Colors, textures and references we build together so their identity shows on every screen.

    Symbols

    The images people recognize, film and take home. The ones that make a show unforgettable.

I conceive and articulate them together with each artist, on projects of any scale, joining a creative team or taking care of the whole audiovisual side, at any stage.

I treat the image as part of the work. I collaborate with the artist and the creative team to define the visual language of the show, how it dialogues with music, light and staging, and how it unfolds over the performance.

Live visuals for music

I compose and run visuals in real time, following each song like one more instrument in the band. I adapt to any scale, from a small venue to a stadium, with the same care for the image.

Touring VJ & local media server operator

When an international act arrives with its show already built in Resolume, I sit at FOH and run it as if it were my own. I review the project in advance, adapt it to the venue's screens and coordinate in English with the touring crew, from rehearsal to show.

Filmmaker, music video & video art

As a filmmaker I direct, shoot and edit music videos, music documentaries, short films and video art. I trained in Audiovisual Arts at UNA, hold an international color grading certification and have my own camera, lighting and sound gear.

From idea to performance

  1. 01Idea

    You tell me about the project, the work or the show. We talk references, timing and venue.

  2. 02Concept

    I propose a visual and technical approach, with scope, timeline and budget.

  3. 03Production

    I create the content, design the system and we test it in rehearsals with the team.

  4. 04Performance

    I am at the console at every performance, making sure the image serves the work.

Do you work in theatre, dance and opera?

Yes. I have done digital scenography and video performance for opera, theatre and dance, and the meeting point between image and stage is something I am especially drawn to.

Do you work outside Buenos Aires?

Yes, I work all over Argentina and on international tours. I speak professional English, so I coordinate directly with crews from other countries.

Can you work with the artist's existing material?

Yes. I can run the existing content, adapt it to each venue or add new pieces.

Can you make the content only, without operating?

Yes, I can deliver content ready for someone else to run, or handle everything end to end.

Do you have your own gear?

I have my own computers to run visuals, plus cameras, lighting and sound for shooting. Screens and projectors are usually provided by production, and I coordinate with that supplier.

How far in advance should I get in touch?

Ideally a month before, especially if content needs to be created. For theatre or premieres, the earlier the better, so I can follow rehearsals from the start.
